As well as being gluten free it also contains 75% less sugar and 78% less salt. But those of us who have tasted it can guarantee that it tastes 100% good, too! And the container is recyclable, too.
What's it good for? Absolutely everything and anything.
I have used it whilst making a fresh pizza (we had accidentally ran out of tomato puree!), added it to soups and stews, lasagne, spaghetti bolognaise, both meaty or non meaty, employed it as a condiment with sandwiches and cooked meals, etc.
It's also a good ingredient for all sorts of good, home cooking.
Recipes on their website include Pumpkin and Tomato Soup, Smokey Sweet Potato Hash Brunch, Real Good Pumpkin Pie, Hidden Vegetable Pasta Sauce, Vegan Chocolate & Avocado Mousse, Red Pepper and Sun-Dried Tomato Chickpea Shakshuka with Cashew Cream, Red Berry Cobbler, Crispy Tofu Wraps with Spinach and Beetroot, Roasted Garlic and Tomato Hummus with Butternut Squash Dippers, Smokey Chickpea Burgers with Mint & Beetroot Dip, Bloody Mary, Festive Tomato & Lentil Stuffed Butternut Squash with Chestnuts, Thyme and Garlicky Tahini and Real Good Cranberry & Raspberry Relish.
Looks like we'll need to be buying it by the crate, with all those recipes! Especially some of the Christmas seasonal recipes!
And they also have other flavours of ketchup/sauces, too.
