It was great! I was able to meet people who I have previously worked with (Hello Warburtons, Hello Glebe Farm, hello Juvela Bread!) and to meet new people who where there to promote their businesses, many of them small, new businesses.
I ended up spending maybe more money than I actually intended, but it was a good day and it was cool to meet so many great and passionate people, lots of people were so thrilled to be able to buy gluten and allergen free foods, ingredients, chocolates, sweets, etc., for them and their children. I was able to purchase some items for my wife who is diagnosed with coeliac disease.
Over the next several days I will make posts on That's Food and Drink (and sister blog, That's Health) featuring the people I was able to meet.
